May 2014 - August 2014 TMG Specialized Analytics Co-Op My third rotation at Nielsen gave me the opportunity to learn about Marketing Mix Modeling regression analysis. I, and my team, worked with a major Cincinnati client on their laundry care business to complete and present 15 Market Mix Models, four of which I was personally responsible for. The role challenged me to be technically capable to achieve good model results and analytically capable of translating those results into a cohesive and believable story for the client. For the project, I had visibility to data collection and processing and the modeling and results validation process. In addition to the assigned MMM work, a teammate and I were challenged to integrate reports from multiple verticals in the company to develop and present a client deliverable based on the category impact of a recent product launch. The project was very well received and will help inform marketing mix model work to be done in the next year. During my internship, I developed proficiency in SPSS, Microsoft Suite, and Nielsen proprietary tools. Empower MediaMarketing August 2013 - December 2013 Digital Sciences Analytics Co-Op This rotation gave me the opportunity to conduct self-led target demographic research, learn about local broadcast media purchasing and analyze monthly media spend for two clients and their competitors. Nielsen BASES June 2012 - August 2012 Professional Services Analytics Intern Working at Nielsen BASES introduced me to market research methodologies, client service techniques and improved my analytical thinking.
